Our Goals
To satisfy our clients expectations.
To meet our employees needs.
To provide inexpensive, up-to-date, accurate information about bookkeeping & taxes.
To
be on the cutting edge of technology, and to keep older versions of
technology around. To still be on top of the oldest methods, including
pen and paper.
To set up our schedules so we can help people with emergencies or backlogs as soon as possible, usually within one day.
To provide our clients with the lowest cost bookkeeping.
Hours and Availability
Hours: 9- 4 Monday Through Friday Eastern Standard Time.
Appointments available at any other time that is convenient for you, at no extra cost.
Flexibility:
We are flexible and let your current staff do as much bookkeeping as
they have time for each month, thereby increasing the efficiency of
your staff. If your business grows to the point that a full-time
bookkeeper could be hired, we will recommend that you hire someone. We
can then train them to become your full charge bookkeeper.
Experience:
Our experience includes but is not limited to: New Businesses,
self-employment, Corporations, Individuals, Partnerships, Unions,
Charitable Organizations, Cooperatives, and Farms including
Thoroughbred Horse Farms.
Stephen Vardin
Owner
and President. Always fascinated by mathematics, I started bookkeeping
by learning on my own while I was in college. My generalist education
enables me to be knowledgeable about all types of businesses. After
graduating, a friend and I tried to start our own business building
solar greenhouses. After some research, we realized it would not make
any money. That took us a year. It was not easy finding help starting a
business. Eureka! Thus, the idea for this business was born.
In 1981, I received a BA in General Studies from SUNY Plattsburgh.
Robert Paigo
Tax
Preparer, bookkeeper and trainer. Stephen hired me in March of 1997. My
previous experience enabled me to take charge of most of the income tax
preparation here since then. I am also the full charge bookkeeper for
many of our clients. I received an AAS in Accounting from Hudson Valley
Community College in 1983. In 1985, I earned a BS in Business
Administration from SUNY Brockport. Since graduation, I have worked in
management and accounting in many different industries. At Stephen
Vardin & Colleagues, Inc., I enjoy the personal way we handle each
of our client's business and the flexible hours.
